Nancy Fillastre is a wife, mother of four, grandmother and native Louisianan. She has over 35 years experience in various arts and crafts, with over 25 years in teaching both beginner and advanced classes.  She is the founding President of the local Society of Decorative Painters chapter.  Nancy is a Certified Regional Trainer in Studio Home Dimensions with Donna Dewberry, and a Certified Instructor in One Stitch Quilting and One Stroke Painting. She continues to keep up to date by attending continuing education classes  Nancy is also known for her family cookbook, MOM’S KITCHEN: LOST and FOUND, which she authored and published herself in 1999.   

She continues using her creativity combining many different arts and crafts.  Her belief is that everyone can have fun while learning and creating.  Nancy says, “All you have to do is see a students face glowing from the realization that they have accomplished what they once thought was impossible and then you’re hooked.”
